DES MOINES — Members of Keokuk County’s 4-H Clubs earned ribbons during the Iowa State Fair last month.

Earning blue ribbons were Carley Clarahan, Patriotic Panthers 4-H, for her photography project; Kaylee Frazier, Keswick Klover Leaves, visual arts pottery and clay projects; Allie Morrison, Liberty Leaders, for her checkered-board sewing project; and Karlee Parizek, Food Club, for her mountain landscape home improvement project and her needle arts crocheted bee.

Sam O'Rourke, Liberty Leaders 4-H, received a blue ribbon for his corn planting drawing, and Naomi Wadsworth, Keswick Klover Leaves, received a blue ribbon for her leggings.

Iowa State Fair 4-H Static project exhibits were judged before the fair began. Earning blue ribbons were Conner O'Rourke for Ag and Natural Resources — Landscaping project binder; Sam O'Rourke, for his corn plant drawing; Frazier for her clay planter and her clay pot; Wadswork for her leggings; and Chloe Zittergruen, Liberty Leaders for her s’mores cookies. Parizen earned blue ribbons for her mountain landscape home improvement project and for her crocheted bee, and Morrison earned a blue ribbon for her checkerboard needle art.

Zittergruen earned a red ribbon for her lemon raspberry cookies, and Lucy O'Rourke, Liberty Leaders, earned a red ribbon for her babysitting bag.
